Description

  • Architect and code production-grade stateful multi-agent systems, custom state machines, and function-calling workflows.
  • Lead end-to-end development, including data preparation, MCP tool integration, structured outputs, context recovery, containerization, and secure Azure or AWS deployment.
  • Build MLOps and LLMOps evaluation pipelines for prompt regression tracking, hallucination mitigation, and human-in-the-loop gating.
  • Apply Responsible AI practices, reliability measures, and safety guardrails throughout solution delivery.
  • Translate business and mission requirements into technical designs and rapidly prototype solutions with stakeholders.
  • Monitor, scale, and improve intelligent applications across their full development lifecycle.
  • Identify research topics, publish insights, and contribute to Azumo’s AI innovation roadmap and service portfolio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience developing and deploying production ML, NLP, or generative AI systems.
  • Expert-level Python and software engineering skills, including data structures, asynchronous programming, API design, testing, CI/CD, Git, and containers.
  • Hands-on experience with LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, MCP, and vector databases such as Pinecone, LanceDB, or Azure AI Search.
  • Experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
  • Cloud deployment experience with Docker and serverless or microservice architectures; Azure preferred and AWS acceptable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining architectural concepts and trade-offs.
  • Professional English proficiency at C1 level.
  • Experience with HITL workflows, automated evaluation suites, and deterministic LLM fallback logic preferred.
  • Contributions to research papers, open-source AI libraries, or the AI engineering community preferred.
