Description

  • Lead sales strategy for Axon’s Fixed LPR cameras by identifying use cases, tailoring solutions, and closing deals with Key Account Leaders.
  • Serve as the technical subject matter expert for LPR product knowledge, implementation logistics, data workflows, and competitive differentiation.
  • Support complex, long-cycle sales efforts with decision-makers, RFPs, and strategic opportunities across large public safety agencies.
  • Deliver product demonstrations, pilots, field proofs, and customer education sessions to showcase LPR technology.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Legal, Customer Success, and Field Sales to support pre-sales and post-sale transitions.
  • Bring customer and field insights back to internal teams to improve product-market fit and long-term customer value.
  • Work with sales teams on strategic accounts to expand reach and unlock new revenue.
  • Travel to customer sites, events, and demos as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in public safety, SaaS, or smart infrastructure.
  • Proven track record of managing long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and exceeding quota.
  • Strong technical aptitude for explaining camera systems, data integrations, and cloud software to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience collaborating with Key Account Executives or sales teams on strategic accounts.
  • Deep understanding of the public safety/government procurement landscape, including RFPs, budgets, and grants.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and storytelling skills.
  • High integrity, mission alignment, and ability to build trust with law enforcement customers.
  • Willingness to travel 30–50% to customer sites, events, and demos.
  • Legal eligibility to work in a firearms environment may be required for some roles.
