Description

  • Lead business and technical presentations for customers, partners, and field events.
  • Provide first-level technical support throughout the pre-sales cycle.
  • Engage in technical discussions with IT departments, CIOs, channel partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Set, manage, and communicate expectations with customers and internal team members.
  • Own the POC and pilot process, including logistics, requirements assessment, test tailoring, and initial configuration support.
  • Prepare professional responses to customer RFPs and RFIs.
  • Position Dedrone’s technology against competitive offerings.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners to drive growth.
  • Improve or create technical documentation to support customer and channel understanding.
  • Capture customer feature requests and relay feedback to Product Management and cross-functional teams.
  • Develop Statements of Work for Professional Services when needed.
  • Represent the company, products, values, and brand at conferences, summits, and other events.

Requirements

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Good understanding of networking concepts including IP, ARP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, PoE, Ethernet, and IEEE 802.11.
  • Basic understanding of Linux.
  • Basic understanding of physical security and IP camera placement and technology.
  • Basic understanding of drone technology, with flying experience preferred.
  • Associate’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or an equivalent field, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • 3-5 years of customer-facing pre-sales or consulting experience required.
  • Experience selling SaaS-based solutions.
  • Experience developing Statements of Work or similar documents.
  • Strong presentation skills, technical acumen, and the ability to simplify complex concepts and work cross-functionally.
  • Basic knowledge or curiosity of security, IPsec, InfoSec, hacking, and exploitation tools/methodologies.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and storage devices.
  • Ability to work independently with substantial latitude for action and decision-making.
  • Intellectual curiosity, humility, accountability, and a positive approach are required.
