Description

  • Partner with Account Executives and Regional Sales Managers to qualify opportunities and design tailored technical solutions.
  • Conduct discovery with 911 centers, emergency management agencies, and public safety IT teams.
  • Deliver product demonstrations, technical workshops, and proof-of-concept sessions.
  • Lead responses to RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, benefit-focused explanations for non-technical audiences.
  • Serve as the subject-matter expert on platform architecture, integrations, APIs, and data workflows.
  • Provide configuration and system design guidance based on customer requirements and existing public safety systems.
  • Advise agencies on network security, system interoperability, and deployment planning.
  • Work with Sales, Product, and Engineering to improve demo environments, messaging, and field readiness.
  • Collect customer feedback and support proposal teams, marketing, and partner teams with technical materials and events.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in public safety, emergency communications, or PSAP operations.
  • Senior-level leadership experience preferred, such as Director, Assistant Director, Executive Director, or equivalent.
  • Experience selling, implementing, or enabling public safety software such as NG911 call handling, CAD, RMS, ESInet, radio systems, mass notification, or emergency communications platforms.
  • Experience serving as a field-facing technical advisor responsible for discovery, solution design, demonstrations, technical validation, and RFP/RFI responses.
  • Deep understanding of PSAP workflows, operational constraints, funding models, procurement cycles, and compliance environments.
  • Experience presenting to boards, executives, and elected officials.
  • Strong technical fluency with cloud-based platforms, integrations/APIs, network infrastructure, data workflows, and system interoperability.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to influence roadmap priorities.
  • Ability to operate in high-growth, ambiguous environments with minimal playbooks.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%.
  • Hands-on experience with 911 call handling systems such as VESTA, Viper, or Solacom is preferred.
  • Experience with CAD platforms, radio console systems, logging recorders, or network analysis tools such as Wireshark is preferred.
