Description

  • Discover agency problems onsite and translate them into buildable, compliant solutions tied to mission outcomes.
  • Design, build, test, and ship AI agents, workflows, automations, integrations, and data pipelines on Axon's platform.
  • Configure, integrate, and extend Axon systems such as DEMS, Fusus, AI Era, and Records in the agency environment.
  • Own outcomes end to end across deployment, adoption, optimization, and ongoing success.
  • Iterate in the field until adoption sticks and document reusable patterns for other accounts.
  • Apply CJIS, evidence integrity, and privacy guardrails to every build.
  • Troubleshoot onsite issues and coordinate root-cause resolution across Product, Engineering, Support, and Services.
  • Build and deploy AI-powered workflows such as agents, prompts, RAG, and evaluations for specific agency problems.
  • Assess workflows, identify friction, and define what to build before implementation.
  • Build trusted relationships with agency leadership, lead QBRs, mission reviews, and strategic planning.
  • Capture customer insights and adoption barriers and share field intelligence with Product and Engineering.
  • Partner with Sales on expansion opportunities and long-term account strategy.
  • Maintain consistent onsite presence of approximately 3-4 days per week.
  • Support Sales-to-Post-Sales onboarding and handoff with clear goals and accountability.

Requirements

  • Typically 8+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles, program management, operational transformation, or complex deployment environments.
  • Experience shipping working automations, agents, workflows, integrations, or AI-enabled tools in customer environments.
  • Ability to configure products, write integration logic, and deliver production-ready solutions.
  • Comfort working across hardware, software, cloud, AI-enabled technologies, and integrated systems.
  • Strong communication skills with technical teams and senior stakeholders, including command staff in mission-critical environments.
  • Full ownership mentality in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
  • Ability to navigate competing priorities across Product, Engineering, Sales, Support, and Services.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain CJIS compliance and adhere to security standards.
  • Former law enforcement or military experience is preferred, not required.
  • Experience in public safety, law enforcement, corrections, or other mission-critical operational environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Records, Evidence, digital workflows, AI-enabled platforms, or integrated public safety ecosystems is preferred.
  • Background in forward-deployed engineering, solutions architecture, or operational transformation at scale is preferred.
  • Some roles may require legal eligibility to work in a firearms environment.
