Description

  • Conduct supplier and buyer factory inspections to assess material and packing quality.
  • Attend scheduled and ad hoc loadings in shipping containers to verify quality and packing compliance.
  • Inspect, evaluate, and cross-check material quality on site, including rejecting non-conforming product.
  • Collect samples, take photos, pack samples, and distribute them appropriately.
  • Perform basic quality tests using tools and methods such as NIR, micrometers, and magnets.
  • Identify potential contamination, quality issues, and variances before inspections and during checks.
  • Complete and submit post-loading paperwork and maintain accurate records in CRM.
  • Report inspection findings, non-conformances, and risks to account managers and collaborate on next steps.
  • Support corrective and preventative actions to address quality issues.
  • Identify and communicate commercial opportunities observed during field work.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or as a Quality Inspector.
  • At least 3 years of field-based experience.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel overnight.
  • Fluent English and multilingual ability.
  • Strong logical reasoning and ability to appraise situations objectively.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly, negotiate effectively, and collaborate with colleagues and customers.
  • Highly organized with the ability to independently plan and manage time.
  • Ability to respond quickly to changing priorities and complete tasks on time to a high standard.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Outlook, Word, and other MS Office products.
  • Experience following internal procedures and policies, including CRM, admin, trial policies, and customer onboarding.
  • Ability to research effectively and communicate clearly in speaking and writing.
  • Action-oriented, curious, resilient, resourceful, and committed to ongoing personal and professional development.
