Description

  • Assist with new US GAAP/IFRS adoption projects, including ASC 606/IFRS 15 revenue recognition and ASC 340/IFRS 15 deferred costs.
  • Review transaction data to analyze, allocate, and calculate revenue for multi-element sales contracts.
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations on SSP allocation reconciliation.
  • Assist with annual SSP testing.
  • Work with project managers on service project tracking, Service Hindsight analysis, and provisions for loss calculations.
  • Assist with revenue vs. billing analysis and Contract Combination/Contract Modification SOX reporting.
  • Support audit-related tasks.
  • Handle ad hoc revenue-related tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent relevant accounting experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in revenue recognition and/or service project accounting.
  • CPA is required; ACCA or USCPA is a plus.
  • Strong accounting knowledge and familiarity with accounting processes.
  • High integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to adjust priorities as needed.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
  • NetSuite/ERP experience is a plus.
  • Experience in the software industry is a plus.
  • Big 4 public accounting experience is preferred.
