Description

  • Lead and grow the firm’s funds practice with strategic backing from leadership.
  • Shape the strategy and operating model for a modern funds practice.
  • Guide delivery and help build a team that combines legal judgment with innovative execution.
  • Work directly with firm decision-makers to drive change quickly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with lawyers, technologists, and operations specialists across the firm.
  • Help build the infrastructure for a global funds practice powered by AI.
  • Work with the firm’s technologist to shape and optimise the Funds AI platform.
  • Support client work for large LPs and GPs in a high-proximity advisory environment.

Requirements

  • Typically 3–5 PQE as a technically strong funds lawyer.
  • Experience and interest in building something lasting rather than taking a conventional career step.
  • Ability to work with autonomy while being accountable for outcomes.
  • Comfort using technology as an enabler of legal and operational work.
  • Curious mindset with a clear vision for how the future of legal services should evolve.
  • Drive to lead change and make it happen in a modern practice environment.
  • Location in the USA or Canada, working remotely.
  • Experience working with or advising asset managers and private equity firms is preferred.
