Description

  • Serve as a subject-matter expert on the Inflation Reduction Act, Medicare drug price negotiation, and related drug pricing reforms.
  • Develop and lead analytics-driven products, tools, and services for clients.
  • Build forecasts to identify drugs likely to be selected for Medicare price negotiation.
  • Create starting-point calculations and strategic frameworks for manufacturers’ initial negotiation offers.
  • Conduct scenario modeling on IRA policy impacts to inform revenue, pricing, and portfolio decisions.
  • Advise life science clients on how policy changes affect pipeline decisions, launch strategies, contracting, and long-term business planning.
  • Lead complex client engagements from scoping through delivery with minimal oversight.
  • Build and refine proprietary analytic tools and methodologies that deliver repeatable, scalable insights.
  • Translate quantitative findings into strategic recommendations for executive and board-level audiences.
  • Contribute to business development, including proposals and expansion of client relationships.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop staff across the team.
  • Produce thought leadership such as white papers, public commentary, and conference presentations.

Requirements

  • A degree in health policy, public policy, healthcare management, public health, public administration, economics, business administration, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience quantitatively analyzing policy proposals, legislation, and/or regulation and communicating findings to clients and the public.
  • Deep knowledge of Medicare Part D, Medicare Part B, physician-administered drugs, provider payment economics, the 340B Program, the Inflation Reduction Act, and other drug pricing reform policies.
  • Prior experience working with Medicare claims and conducting quantitative analysis.
  • Experience overseeing and supervising staff members.
  • Prior project management experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to executives.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Word.
  • Deep understanding of and/or experience in oncology is a plus.
  • Experience in a biotech or health insurance company, trade group, advocacy organization, Capitol Hill, the executive branch, or a professional advisory services firm is acceptable.
