Description

  • Deepen client relationships and anticipate client needs as healthcare landscape changes.
  • Generate new business and grow existing accounts, especially in data analytics and real-world evidence generation.
  • Lead end-to-end proposal development, including shaping project approach and coordinating contributors.
  • Manage multiple clients and deliverables across short- and long-term timelines.
  • Lead and execute qualitative research and implementation science initiatives, including protocols and evaluation plans.
  • Prepare and present research outputs such as manuscripts, posters, and presentations to diverse stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute projects including RFPs, vendor selection, and project management with budgets and timelines.
  • Build strategic plans, studies, and analyses that support patient access and value-based outcomes.
  • Create integrated RWE generation and communication plans across Avalere and Avalere Health teams.

Requirements

  • Graduate-level degree in public health, public policy, epidemiology, health economics/econometrics, pharmacology, medicine, or another quantitative health field.
  • Experience generating real-world evidence, either qualitative or quantitative, to support value assessments and clinical or formulary decision-making.
  • Experience working with US and outside-the-US claims data for life sciences analytics.
  • Proven track record of managing and growing client accounts, including ownership of a book of business or portfolio of relationships.
  • Established client-facing experience with senior stakeholders and the ability to translate strategic needs into project designs.
  • Ability to translate complex research into accessible and actionable insights.
  • Strong situational leadership skills with the ability to motivate others across all levels of the organization.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts concisely to executives.
  • Experience in formative research or implementation science, including research question development, instrument design, and study execution.
  • Proven track record of conducting and leading healthcare research studies.
  • Experience in US and global markets is preferred.

  • $170,000 to $220,000 annual salary, depending on experience and location.
