Description

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Medicare, Medicaid, and drug pricing policy.
  • Develop strategic and tactical recommendations aligned with client policy and business needs.
  • Lead client engagements, including project strategy, team management, quality assurance, and timely delivery.
  • Develop new advisory offerings responsive to changing client needs.
  • Support business development planning and contribute to practice sales and revenue goals.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor staff across the practice and firm.
  • Author thought leadership that showcases policy expertise and practice capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in public health, public policy, political science, healthcare management, health policy, public administration, economics, business administration, or a related field.
  • Graduate degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • At least 7 years of relevant work experience; pharmaceutical, biotech, life sciences consulting, or federal agency experience strongly preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid policy, including Medicare Part D and the Inflation Reduction Act’s Medicare Drug Price Negotiation Program.
  • Experience analyzing policy proposals, legislation, or regulations and communicating implications to clients and other audiences.
  • Prior project management, team leadership, supervision, and mentoring experience.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare-sector policy issues, marketplace dynamics, and stakeholder impacts.
  • Excellent written, verbal, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Word.
  • Experience in health insurance, PBMs, trade groups, advocacy organizations, healthcare finance, or Congress preferred.
