Description

  • Lead creative projects from conception through completion across multiple media and platforms.
  • Collaborate with art directors, copywriters, strategists, and project teams to integrate copy, design, and UX around strategic insights.
  • Deliver breakthrough creative work while influencing peers and championing high-quality ideas.
  • Understand client and company strategic and financial goals.
  • Master clinical data and competitive landscapes for assigned brands and accounts.
  • Manage staffing, scope of work, delegation, workflows, budgets, and multiple workstreams.
  • Develop and strengthen client relationships.
  • Direct writing and design for interactive, motion, print, and other multimedia projects.
  • Mentor junior creatives and empower team members to reach their potential.
  • Communicate proactively to keep deliverables on track and on schedule.

Requirements

  • Minimum 9 years of creative copywriting experience, including at least 3 years writing for pharmaceutical clients.
  • Pharmaceutical experience and product launch experience are required.
  • Experience working in sickle cell disease or gene therapy is required.
  • Multicultural experience is required.
  • Experience with both healthcare professional and patient marketing.
  • Experience leading teams and mentoring junior creatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, writing, or a related field preferred but not required.
  • Ability to direct writing and design across interactive, motion, and print projects.
  • Digital portfolio demonstrating diverse interactive work across multimedia channels and platforms.
  • Strong customer service, communication, professionalism, self-motivation, and attention to detail.
