Description

  • Lead creative projects from conception to completion, including outlines and first manuscripts aligned to brand strategy.
  • Collaborate with art directors, copywriters, and strategists to execute communication projects across media.
  • Ensure copy, design, and UX work together to support strategic insights on each project.
  • Prepare annotated reference packs for editorial fact check and LMR review using client-specific and AMA style.
  • Present creative work to clients and defend work in LMR meetings.
  • Review changes during routing and resolve project queries.
  • Understand the strategic and financial goals of clients and Avalere Health.
  • Master the clinical data and competitive landscape for assigned brands and accounts.
  • Participate in staffing and evaluating scope of work.
  • Manage delegation, workflow, timelines, and deliverables across multiple projects, brands, teams, and work streams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, writing, or a related field preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 9 years of creative copywriting experience, including at least 3 years writing for pharma.
  • Experience in market access/patient support required.
  • Experience in market access/patient support writing preferred.
  • Pharmaceutical and/or medical device experience required.
  • Experience leading teams and mentoring junior creatives.
  • Ability to direct writing and design for interactive, motion, and print projects.
  • Strong customer service skills with a commitment to superior quality.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Advanced PC or Mac experience with Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to share a digital portfolio featuring interactive work across multiple media channels and platforms.
