Description

  • Conceptualize, develop, and design content based on strategic direction.
  • Partner with copywriters and senior art staff to create campaign concepts, layouts, and storyboards.
  • Manage creative projects from initial concepts through final completion.
  • Lead entry-level designers and art directors, assigning resources and coordinating freelancers.
  • Monitor the quality of agency creative output and provide direction and leadership.
  • Present creative work in client meetings and participate in new business activities.
  • Coordinate with studio teams, outside suppliers, editorial, project management, account management, and other departments to meet deadlines.
  • Manage multiple projects, communicate status updates, solve problems, and maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Complete accurate timesheets by required deadlines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, graphic arts, or an equivalent field.
  • 6–10 years of creative experience, including at least 4 years in pharmaceutical advertising.
  • At least 4 years of supervisory experience.
  • Pharmaceutical and/or medical device experience preferred.
  • Advanced PC or Mac proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Outstanding creative presentation skills and the ability to effectively sell ideas to clients and peers.
  • Strong oral and written communication, customer service, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, professional, detail-oriented, collaborative, curious, resourceful, and comfortable working under pressure and tight deadlines.
