Description

  • Lead and develop content creators, designers, reviewers, and production specialists.
  • Manage team performance, productivity, quality metrics, feedback, coaching, and performance reviews.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train team members while fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Translate the content roadmap into project plans with clear milestones, priorities, and deliverables.
  • Communicate delivery progress, blockers, risks, and constraints to Content Leadership.
  • Plan and forecast resources, balancing workloads and matching skills to projects.
  • Use Google Sheets and project management tools such as JIRA to track workflows, deadlines, and project data.
  • Analyse production data to inform prioritisation and roadmap feasibility.
  • Maintain accurate operational systems, trackers, metrics, and project databases.
  • Uphold editorial, brand, curriculum, quality, and delivery standards.
  • Collaborate with Content Leads to improve processes and efficiency.
  • Support responsible AI experimentation across the content lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams, including setting goals, managing workloads, running meetings and 1:1s, and providing actionable feedback.
  • Experience owning operational delivery through project planning, metrics, resource management, and performance outcomes.
  • Experience with resource planning and forecasting, including managing shifting priorities and constraints.
  • Strong decision-making, critical-thinking, strategic-thinking, and complex problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and confidence working accurately through multi-step processes and systems.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets or an equivalent tool, including data manipulation and trend analysis.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building relationships and conveying direction and feedback.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate team members and foster a productive team environment.
  • Experience working in or alongside a content or editorial function preferred.
  • Experience experimenting with AI and understanding where it can support work preferred.
  • Australian working rights required.
