Description

  • Develop high-quality educational content, including video scripts, assessments, quizzes, and text lessons.
  • Translate VCE or HSC curriculum documents into practical, student-friendly lesson plans.
  • Research evidence-based methods and subject-specific knowledge to ensure content is accurate and effective.
  • Proofread and edit syllabus-aligned scripts, quizzes, and lessons to ensure clarity and accuracy.
  • Provide detailed constructive feedback to content creators to improve quality and writing development.
  • Uphold the Atomi style guide to keep content consistent and on-brand.
  • Collaborate with designers, team leads, and the production team to deliver polished final content.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high quality.

Requirements

  • Deep subject mastery in a relevant area, with particular expertise in VCE English, VCE Psychology, VCE Health and Human Development, or HSC Economics and Legal Studies.
  • Strong curriculum knowledge in the required syllabus area.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the relevant subject field.
  • Previous teaching, tutoring, or copyediting experience is highly desirable.
  • Ability to independently manage time and meet strict deadlines.
  • Australian working rights are required.
  • Portfolio links or examples of relevant work, such as writing samples or a GitHub profile, should be included.
  • Open to candidates from a range of backgrounds, including those who do not meet every listed qualification.
