Description

  • Write engaging educational content, including video scripts, assessments, and text lessons.
  • Turn curriculum documents into clear, practical course and lesson plans.
  • Break down complex syllabus points into content that is easy for students to understand.
  • Keep subject knowledge current by staying up to date with evidence-based teaching strategies.
  • Follow a detailed style guide to ensure content is consistent and audience-appropriate.
  • Manage multiple projects, prioritize work effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Collaborate with Visual Content Designers, Subject Team Leads, and other stakeholders to deliver accurate, engaging, on-brand content.
  • Contribute ideas and help improve team processes through feedback, workshops, and discussions.

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of secondary school Physical Education and Health, with VCE knowledge highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of how to create content that works effectively for students.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas.
  • A passion for education and learning design.
  • Comfort working collaboratively and explaining your thinking clearly.
  • Confidence using project management tools, or willingness to learn them.
  • A degree or equivalent experience in a Physical Education and Health-related field, with strong academic results.
  • Teaching or tutoring experience is a bonus.
  • Interest in learning design is preferred, with training provided for candidates new to the area.
  • Australian working rights are required.
