Description

  • Lead the day-to-day operation of Atmosera's 24x7x365 Security Operations Center.
  • Own the operational delivery of Atmosera's Microsoft-native MXDR services.
  • Continuously improve the maturity, scalability, and consistency of security operations.
  • Serve as the executive operational leader for client-facing security operations.
  • Provide technical leadership across Microsoft security tools and services, including Defender XDR, Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365, Entra ID Protection, Purview, and Security Copilot.
  • Lead operational readiness for incident response and threat operations.
  • Align Security Operations with strategic security frameworks such as NIST CSF, MCSB, ISO 27001, and MITRE ATT&CK.
  • Recruit, develop, mentor, and retain high-performing security professionals.
  • Understand and manage the financial drivers of managed security services.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs such as SLA/SLO attainment, MTTD, MTTR, analyst utilization, automation adoption, client satisfaction, operational efficiency, alert quality, secure posture improvement, and service profitability.
  • Produce repeatable processes and playbooks that can be adopted across teams.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity.
  • 5+ years leading enterprise Security Operations or Managed Security Services.
  • Demonstrated ability to run repeatable processes with strong attention to detail and a bias toward documentation.
  • Ability to translate complex topics into clear updates for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfort working across remote, cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to use data and customer signal to identify root causes and propose scalable solutions.
  • Preferred certifications include CISSP, CCSP, Microsoft Certified Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified Security Operations Analyst, Microsoft Certified Identity and Access Administrator, and ITIL Foundation or ITIL Managing Professional.
  • Executive presence, operational maturity, strong situational awareness, and sound business judgment.
  • Ability to work from home with possible travel to client sites.
