Description

  • Explore and experiment with blockchain use cases across a range of business scenarios.
  • Build prototypes and tooling to validate ideas in practice.
  • Research on-chain ecosystems, protocols, and emerging trends to identify business opportunities for BNB Chain infrastructure.
  • Synthesize research findings into clear technical reports and directional recommendations for the core team.
  • Collaborate closely with protocol and product teams to ensure research insights inform infrastructure decisions.
  • Stay current with developments across the broader Web3 ecosystem, including protocols, applications, and business models.
  • Help define the scope of the work as the role evolves over time.

Requirements

  • 1–5 years of engineering experience.
  • Solid foundation in backend or systems development.
  • Experience with Go, Rust, or Python preferred.
  • Basic understanding of blockchain fundamentals, including transaction lifecycle, smart contracts, or EVM.
  • Curiosity-driven mindset and comfort working with ambiguity.
  • Ability to structure research findings and communicate them clearly.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fully remote setting.
  • Hands-on experience with any blockchain ecosystem, such as BNB Chain, Ethereum, or Solana, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with DeFi, trading infrastructure, payments, AI applications, or other on-chain business verticals is preferred.
  • Experience with on-chain data analysis or smart contract development is preferred.
  • Background in quantitative analysis, data engineering, or financial systems is preferred.
