Description

  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports.
  • Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that improve statistical efficiency and data quality.
  • Compile and analyze statistical data using both modern and traditional methods.
  • Perform SWOT analyses and use findings to inform recommendations.
  • Formulate reports, present findings, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Clean, filter, and validate data while reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and correct issues.
  • Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Identify and support new process improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor performance and quality control plans to identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

  • BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics.
  • Proven working experience as a data analyst.
  • Technical expertise in data models, database design and development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of reporting packages.
  • Experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets such as Excel, SPSS, or SAS.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate large amounts of information accurately.
  • Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines and limited staff support.
  • Willingness to travel within the U.S. as needed.
  • Evening and weekend work may be required.
  • Experience with or understanding of physical and office-based work environment demands is expected.
