Description

  • Lead Salesforce developers and administrators across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud solutions.
  • Provide technical direction and mentorship on Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and integration patterns.
  • Oversee code reviews, enforce engineering best practices, and manage technical debt.
  • Drive architectural standards, data model design, Salesforce security, and governor limit compliance.
  • Manage deployments and release pipelines using Gearset or other CI/CD tools.
  • Lead Agile/Scrum delivery activities such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and velocity tracking.
  • Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, Data, internal stakeholders, and external vendors to deliver releases on time.
  • Oversee configuration, automation, approval workflows, testing, documentation, and release management.
  • Coach and develop engineers and technical leads while promoting accountability and growth.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions and contribute to long-term platform planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 7+ years of Salesforce development experience, including Apex, LWC, and integrations.
  • 3+ years leading Salesforce engineering teams, with onshore/offshore leadership preferred.
  • Proven experience with CI/CD tools such as Gearset, Copado, or similar platforms.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, and metadata management.
  • Experience in large, multi-org Salesforce environments.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and delivery metrics.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer II, Application Architect, or System Architect are highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical, healthcare, or patient services environments is preferred.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and technology partners is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Territory Management, custom metadata, and Platform Events is preferred.
  • Ability to balance short-term project delivery with long-term platform health.
