Description

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout their journey with AssemblyAI.
  • Onboard new customers and help them realize their product vision with voice AI.
  • Evaluate customer use cases and identify opportunities to integrate voice AI into product roadmaps.
  • Manage a portfolio of technical customers through mostly asynchronous communication and timely support.
  • Lead commercial and project meetings to demonstrate the value of AssemblyAI’s voice AI capabilities.
  • Drive growth in API usage across different product offerings and end-customer use cases.
  • Build strong customer relationships to support long-term success on the platform.
  • Act as a customer advocate and thought leader by providing feedback that influences the product roadmap.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Support, Engineering, Research, and Product to improve the customer experience.
  • Create detailed execution plans to address customer needs and unblock technical issues.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a technical account manager, account manager, solutions architect, sales engineer, or technical consultant.
  • Preferred experience with SQL, Python, React, and web development frameworks.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML tools is a strong plus.
  • Passion for AI technology and applying it to real-world customer challenges.
  • Ability to proactively identify voice AI integration opportunities and create detailed execution plans.
  • Willingness to wear many hats across software engineering, product, account management, and support.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
  • Ability to operate with high energy, context switch frequently, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working with customers in a technical, externally facing role is implied by the position.
  • Located in the United States for the listed salary range; compensation may differ for candidates outside the U.S.
