Description

  • Execute the operating model across four pillars: business strategy and positioning, operational excellence, growth, and product strategy and technology.
  • Define and implement strategies to achieve growth plans and operating objectives with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Drive operational efficiency and scalability across portfolio companies to optimize performance and maximize profitability.
  • Identify and support revenue growth opportunities, including cross-selling and market penetration into new segments.
  • Lead initiatives and resolve challenges across sales, customer success, and research & development functions within the portfolio.
  • Ensure portfolio companies deliver strong solutions, service delivery and customer support to prioritize satisfaction and retention.
  • Establish and oversee clear product roadmaps and balance R&D investment with maintenance to acquire new customers and retain existing ones.
  • Oversee development and execution of product strategies aligned with market trends and company objectives.
  • Build, coach and lead high-performing teams, cultivate a culture of performance, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in management consulting and/or in a technology or software business.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, economics, or a related field; MBA is a strong asset.
  • Proven experience as a business operations leader with a commercial, customer-centric and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Experience in one or more of: sales (customer acquisition, market penetration), customer service (support and professional services), or product development/R&D (asset).
  • Financial acumen with P&L management, budgeting and forecasting experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead, develop and mentor high-performing teams and mobilize people toward common goals.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and drive results.
  • Entrepreneurial, results-oriented, proactive, accountable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Combination of strategic and hands-on approach to leadership and execution.
