Description

  • Design Agentforce agents, including topics, instructions, boundaries, and actions.
  • Implement agent actions using Salesforce Flow, Apex, prompt templates, and external APIs.
  • Ground agents in Salesforce Data 360 and retrieval sources.
  • Design guardrails addressing prompt injection, data leakage, and unauthorized actions.
  • Build evaluation sets, regression tests, and evaluation harnesses for agent behavior.
  • Instrument agents to track requests, retrieval, actions, failures, and other operational data.
  • Prepare structured and unstructured retrieval data, including chunking and metadata strategies.
  • Collaborate with Data 360 teams on data freshness, identity, and consent constraints.
  • Analyze live transcripts and deflection data to improve agents based on evidence.
  • Advise stakeholders when use cases are not appropriate for agent-based solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of software or data engineering experience.
  • Hands-on production experience building LLM-backed applications.
  • Practical prompt engineering experience, including systematic prompt testing.
  • Understanding of AI risks such as hallucinations, prompt injection, PII exposure, and action authorization.
  • Experience with Agentforce Agent Builder, topics, actions, Prompt Builder, and Einstein Trust Layer.
  • Salesforce Flow and Apex experience sufficient to build and debug agent actions.
  • Knowledge of RAG concepts, including embeddings, chunking, vector retrieval, and grounding evaluation.
  • Python experience for data preparation, evaluation harnesses, and API development.
  • Experience using Salesforce Data 360 as a grounding source; Salesforce AI Specialist or Agentforce Specialist certification preferred.
  • Professional English proficiency for direct collaboration with North American stakeholders.
  • Permanent authorization to work in the country of residence without current or future visa sponsorship.
