Description

  • Own the API Connections platform, manage the backlog of platform bets, and oversee commercial relationships with third-party providers.
  • Define and execute the roadmap for Agent-to-Agent (A2A) interoperability and MCP servers.
  • Lead the developer SDKs and ensure roadmap investments stay aligned with the underlying platform.
  • Manage telephony and platform integrations with customers’ CCaaS stacks, prioritizing disciplined execution over proliferation.
  • Own external product documentation at docs.asapp.com and drive a docs-first approach where documentation ships with features.
  • Set strategy and own the roadmap across multiple interconnected product areas, balancing customer commitments, tech debt, and platform bets.
  • Work directly with customers and account teams to prioritize and sequence delivery.
  • Establish metrics and telemetry so product outcomes are measurable and decisions are data-driven.
  • Maintain ruthless prioritization by actively managing and pruning the backlog.
  • Collaborate with engineering leads, customer teams, and executive stakeholders to keep product direction coherent.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience in enterprise B2B SaaS and native AI platforms.
  • Technical depth to engage credibly with engineers on API design, SDK architecture, integration patterns, and AI/ML tradeoffs.
  • Hands-on experience producing working prototypes and understanding production code.
  • Demonstrated ability to own a complex, multi-surface product area with minimal oversight.
  • Experience working directly with enterprise customers and delivery teams to translate pain points into a prioritized roadmap.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and structuring undefined problems before engineering does.
  • Track record of shipping features from discovery through delivery, including unglamorous execution work.
  • Experience with integration platform or developer experience products such as API gateways, SDKs, MCP/A2A protocols, webhooks, or OAuth flows (preferred).
  • Experience with voice or telephony products and CCaaS platforms (preferred).
  • Proven background in enterprise onboarding (preferred).
  • Ability to reason about AI/ML systems, including model behavior, latency tradeoffs, accuracy, and trust requirements (preferred).
  • Prior experience in a startup or fast-scaling environment where the role evolved over time (preferred).
  • Experience owning or improving developer-facing documentation such as API references, integration guides, and SDK docs (preferred).
