Description

  • Design and drive operational methods for maintaining writing excellence in product development.
  • Integrate writing guidance, best practices, and style principles into evolving design systems.
  • Develop reusable UX content templates, components, and frameworks that improve consistency and efficiency.
  • Build and manage AI-powered systems, tools, and workflows that increase team capacity and output quality.
  • Serve as a UX writing thought leader and advocate for a user-first approach across teams.
  • Document, maintain, and evolve UX writing styles and standards across all products.
  • Conduct content audits, identify patterns, and lead brainstorming sessions to improve user experiences and optimize content.
  • Independently lead UX writing initiatives from discovery through implementation in alignment with product strategy.
  • Partner with design teams on accessibility and localization initiatives to ensure inclusive, usable content.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with researchers, product managers, engineers, designers, and stakeholders to create cohesive experiences.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience as a UX Writer with a deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
  • Experience with localization workflows, including writing for translatability, translation management systems, or collaboration with L10n engineering teams.
  • Experience working in a high-growth environment.
  • Ability to use empathy, logic, and data to inform design choices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including presenting research to stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Proven fluency with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar, applied to content design workflows.
  • Experience building and maintaining AI-powered systems for team-wide use.
  • Passion for building accessible, inclusive, high-quality products and evangelizing those practices.
  • Collaborative mindset and comfort working effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with technical writers, product designers, product managers, and engineers.

Benefits

  • Remote full-time position.
  • Salary range of $122,600 to $183,800 per year for all U.S. locations.
  • Bonus-eligible role.
