Description

  • Trace issues through data pipelines or code to identify why systems are not behaving as expected.
  • Write clear Jira tickets documenting findings, fixes, and prevention steps.
  • Partner with engineers and product managers to make data and code more reliable, faster, and easier to understand.
  • Work with business and technology leaders to understand the broader business strategy and translate it into technical execution.
  • Design and execute technical strategies for delivery on the product data team.
  • Help build a culture of technical curiosity by questioning assumptions and testing hypotheses before release.
  • Leverage AI tools to think, build, and ship faster.
  • Develop data-driven insights that improve user experience and conversion rates.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of SQL.
  • Familiarity with Python.
  • Experience digging into JSON, logs, or API outputs to validate data flows.
  • Ability to read and reason about someone else’s code.
  • Ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear next steps and identify root causes.
  • Analytical skills to develop insights that improve user experience and drive conversion rates.
  • Curiosity about how systems, code, and data work.
  • Comfort with using AI tools to accelerate work.
  • Willingness to participate in a 2-day paid technical interview assignment and potential 180-day contract or probationary period.
