Description

  • Advise alternative asset firm and family office clients on talent acquisition strategy and execution.
  • Lead sourcing, screening, assessing, and hiring across business and functional areas.
  • Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to define roles, hiring plans, job criteria, and interview processes.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including candidate communication, scheduling, offers, and onboarding support.
  • Oversee and/or coordinate third-party search firms and recruiting activity.
  • Develop policies, procedures, control measures, and hiring documents.
  • Evaluate hiring progress using KPIs, scoring matrices, and related performance measures.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience and compliant background and reference checks.
  • Collaborate with leadership to capture and manage talent data, relationships, and compensation information.
  • Support special projects and other talent acquisition needs as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Master’s degree, advanced degree, or Human Resource designation preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience as Director of Talent Acquisition for an Alternative Asset Firm or Family Office.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in executive search or as a staffing/agency recruiter.
  • Hands-on experience with sourcing, screening, and attracting talent across operations and investments.
  • Strong program and project management skills to build streamlined recruiting processes.
  • Knowledge of financial products and services, including hedge funds and family offices.
  • Strong client and commercial focus with sound judgment, analytical thinking, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with compensation analysis, market data, peer comparisons, and scoring matrices.
  • Ability to work with senior stakeholders and manage a small team of recruiters.
