Description

  • Design and build product experiences for Arize Phoenix across UI-driven and programmatic workflows.
  • Create interactive visualizations for embeddings, traces, evaluation runs, and agent/tool workflows.
  • Develop reusable components and templates for the design system from concept through production.
  • Build Agent Experience primitives such as interaction contracts, human-in-the-loop workflows, and agent-friendly UI surfaces.
  • Enable agents to query, navigate, and trigger evaluations within the product.
  • Define patterns for how humans and AI agents collaborate in a shared workspace.
  • Prototype new AI features and UI patterns for performance visualization, anomaly surfacing, and AI behavior explanation.
  • Use AI-assisted UI generation to accelerate prototyping while maintaining craft, accessibility, and consistency.
  • Iterate quickly on prototypes and refine them toward polished production experiences.

Requirements

  • Strong frontend engineering skills with React and TypeScript.
  • Demonstrated design sensibility paired with engineering ability.
  • Deep interest in interaction design, information architecture, and developer experience.
  • Curiosity about AI systems, including agents, evaluations, and observability.
  • Ability to prototype quickly and iterate toward polished solutions.
  • Attention to accessibility, performance, and craft.
  • Comfort working in open-source communities and async collaboration.
  • Experience with agentic workflows or AI product design is a plus.
  • Familiarity with building interfaces for complex data visualization is preferred.
