Description

  • Lead the creative direction and interpretation of all video content.
  • Shape narrative flow, emotional tone, and visual language in collaboration with the founder.
  • Pull powerful ideas from raw footage and find the emotional pulse of messages.
  • Edit videos into cinematic, story-driven pieces that keep ADHD audiences engaged and spark “aha” moments.
  • Recommend and integrate B-roll, music, typography, color grading, and visual styles to strengthen stories.
  • Experiment boldly while maintaining clean, purposeful pacing, motion, and energy.
  • Build repeatable editing systems, templates, and workflows for 300+ videos.
  • Tailor edits for multiple formats including YouTube, Shorts, TikTok, Reels, and the mobile app.
  • Deliver reliable, on-schedule work in a fast-moving, fully remote environment and suggest structural improvements to clarify messaging.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional video editing experience.
  • Deep understanding of pacing, emotion, storytelling, and retention psychology for social-first platforms.
  • Strong eye for design, composition, typography, color grading, and visual styling.
  • Understanding of ADHD-friendly visual communication and how to keep ADHD audiences engaged.
  • Proficiency in either Canva + CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Experience with AI editing and animation tools.
  • Excellent communication, remote collaboration skills, and proven reliability with self-management.
  • Comfortable with asynchronous, autonomous work and being judged on results rather than hours.
  • Experience editing for coaching, education, or personality-driven brands (preferred).
  • Motion graphics or light animation experience (preferred).
