Description

  • Design and develop backend services that implement business logic and modify data using ASP.NET and Entity Framework Core.
  • Create unit tests for APIs and other application components to verify functionality and reliability.
  • Integrate observability features such as OpenTelemetry metrics and correlation identifiers into services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve bugs reported by testers and end users.
  • Diagnose operational issues in deployed environments and document detailed bug reports for remediation.
  • Model and refine data structures for new features and optimize existing data models.
  • Develop complex SQL queries and views to improve application integration and performance.
  • Maintain and evolve GraphQL schemas to support data sharing across systems.
  • Support build and deployment workflows using Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, Kubernetes, and Helm charts.
  • Participate in Agile sprint meetings and collaborate with teammates on task, code, and status management.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on ASP.NET services.
  • Bachelor’s degree, or 2 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles with high proficiency in C# and .NET frameworks.
  • Experience building microservices using ASP.NET Core in C#.
  • Experience developing and integrating GraphQL APIs in ASP.NET or similar platforms.
  • Proven ability to build comprehensive unit tests for microservices and GraphQL APIs.
  • Demonstrated experience building PostgreSQL databases for large-scale enterprise applications.
  • Experience integrating PostgreSQL databases within ASP.NET microservices using Entity Framework Core (EFCore).
  • Experience supporting Azure cloud services such as AKS, Storage Accounts, and Key Vaults, and implementing Azure Pipelines for builds and deployments.
  • Experience using Kubernetes for application deployments, creating and updating Helm charts, and upgrading deployments.
  • Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) and Git to manage tasks, code, and status.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • U.S. citizenship required and ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability Determination required.
