Description

  • Provide expert technical support to maintain the client application.
  • Support development, enhancements, accessibility, integration, optimization, and maintenance efforts.
  • Ensure application availability and correct operation.
  • Work within a sprint-based Agile development cycle.
  • Use knowledge of the AWS cloud environment, Python backend, and TypeScript front-end.
  • Conduct usability evaluations and accessibility testing to improve public-facing web applications.
  • Document UX and accessibility findings and recommendations.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in digital accessibility.
  • Bachelor’s degree, or 3 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience supporting user experience design and digital accessibility for public-facing web applications.
  • Expertise with Section 508 compliance and WCAG standards.
  • Proficiency with manual and automated accessibility testing methods and tools.
  • Proficiency with UX design tools such as Figma.
  • Experience documenting UX and accessibility findings and recommendations.
  • Experience with usability evaluations.
  • Experience working within Agile teams.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability Determination.
  • Public Trust eligibility required; sponsorship is not available.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $47/hr. to $53/hr.
  • Part-time position with potential for pro-rated benefits.
  • Remote work with occasional travel of less than 10%.
