Description

  • Build web and mobile applications from product requirements with a focus on reliability and quality.
  • Create and manage backend infrastructure, including database schemas, API architecture, orchestration services, and architectural improvements.
  • Lead end-to-end technical execution and own the software development lifecycle.
  • Design and implement the platform architecture and tech stack with attention to scalability, speed, and reliability.
  • Ideate, plan, and prototype technical tools for aircraft performance and dispatch settings.
  • Collaborate with design, data science, and aviation experts to improve features and products.
  • Use code-generation technologies to streamline development and improve productivity.
  • Implement and productize machine learning and deep learning algorithms developed by the AI/ML research team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of post-college work experience or entrepreneurial experience.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an engineering discipline, or equivalent evidence of outstanding technical achievement.
  • End-to-end experience building software across front-end, back-end, and cloud deployment.
  • Strong GitHub history with shareable personal projects and/or open-source contributions.
  • Ability to create intuitive, clean, professional products without a dedicated designer or design system.
  • Strong understanding of how to implement and train AI systems into SaaS products, with willingness to learn voice agents.
  • Familiarity with serverless and microservice architecture in major cloud hyperscalers and production-grade CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to respond quickly and iteratively to customer needs on tight timelines.
  • Experience with backend development combined with AI-focused front-end development is especially valued.
  • Infrastructure experience with Kubernetes, S3, RDS, SQS, Lambda, Datadog, Docker, and Temporal is preferred.
  • Passion for aviation and/or UAM is preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to transition between mobile and web development is preferred.

Benefits

  • Base salary targeted between $180,000 and $215,000.
  • Pay-for-performance compensation culture.
