Description

  • Translate ambiguous business and clinical questions into concrete data plans and build the underlying data model, code, and analysis.
  • Develop and maintain analytical pipelines and reusable data assets using SQL, dbt, Foundry, and AWS data lake environments.
  • Own or contribute to productized analytics engines such as risk, medical economics, and episodes-of-care.
  • Design and build predictive or risk models in partnership with the Data Science team.
  • Build dashboards, provider scorecards, registries, and other analytical deliverables using QuickSight and similar tools.
  • Maintain analytical integrity and quality, and oversee quality standards for senior placements.
  • Manage delivery calendars, decision logs, risks, and tradeoffs across programs or portfolios.
  • Create client-facing materials such as status decks, decision memos, and technical explainers.
  • Serve as a day-to-day contact for customers or delivery partners and navigate scope and timeline discussions.
  • Mentor junior analysts, delegate repeatable work, and identify opportunities for automation and reuse.

Requirements

  • Strong SQL and data modeling expertise.
  • Healthcare data experience, including claims and/or clinical data, with value-based care familiarity.
  • Direct customer- or partner-facing experience with comfort scoping and presenting work without close oversight.
  • Comfort adopting AI tooling as part of an analytical workflow.
  • Lead-level experience managing multiple stakeholders and mentoring less experienced analysts is preferred for some placements.
  • Experience with dbt-based analytics engine development and partnering with product/engineering on roadmap is preferred.
  • Dashboarding experience with QuickSight or a comparable BI tool is preferred.
  • Quantitative or ML fluency to build models and hand them to a Data Science team for training is preferred.
  • Experience with medical economics, risk algorithms, quality data, and/or episodes-of-care analytics is preferred.
  • Experience with state Medicaid programs, project-based/retainer delivery, prime contractor structures, Python, AWS, Jira, and Confluence is preferred.

  • Competitive compensation with salary ranges of $125,000–$145,000 for Senior Analyst and $145,000–$170,000 for Lead Analyst.
