Description

  • Integrate robotic platforms with PLCs and hardware safety systems such as light curtains and emergency stops.
  • Connect Apollo to customer ERP and WMS systems through REST APIs or message brokers to support job orchestration.
  • Design and implement workflows and interfaces for facility mapping, map annotation, labeling, and work ingestion queues.
  • Develop and maintain systems for robot job coordination, navigation, scheduling, and progress monitoring.
  • Implement monitoring and telemetry solutions to track fleet health and performance metrics.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex integration issues across hardware-software interfaces in live production environments.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX, systems, software, hardware, and applications teams to deliver end-to-end features.
  • Architect workflow definitions for autonomous systems and support robotics integration in production settings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional, full-time experience building and maintaining reliable, scalable systems.
  • Expertise in Python, C++, or TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience with OPC UA, EtherNet/IP, Profinet, or Modbus TCP for PLC and safety system integration.
  • Experience interfacing with REST APIs, MQTT, AMQP, or Kafka for enterprise system connectivity.
  • Proficiency with gRPC and Protocol Buffers for low-latency distributed communication.
  • Track record of collaborating with UI/UX designers and end-users on intuitive dashboards and control interfaces.
  • Demonstrated competence with Git or version control in distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with Linux, Docker, and containerization technologies.
  • Prior experience in human-AMR planning, task allocation, and multi-agent coordination.
  • Strong understanding of distributed execution and software design patterns.
  • Experience architecting workflow definitions for autonomous systems or integrating robotics systems into production environments.
