Description

  • Build tools and infrastructure that enable large-scale end-to-end autonomy research.
  • Work directly with AI research and engineering teams to productionize next-generation self-driving software.
  • Help scale end-to-end training by identifying and removing bottlenecks in GPU compute, on-road data volume, data curation, and evaluation systems.
  • Contribute across the full ML stack, including vehicle-side and cloud environments.
  • Own technical and product decisions in collaboration with internal and external users.
  • Gather feedback from users and incorporate it into research and production workflows.

Requirements

  • Strong software generalist experience with the ability to contribute up and down the ML stack.
  • Experience working on the vehicle, in the cloud, or across both environments.
  • Strong fundamentals in software and module design, including building libraries and abstractions.
  • Rapid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Python, PyTorch, CUDA, Bazel, Kubernetes, Spark, and Flyte.
  • Strong multi-language build system knowledge (preferred).
  • Experience with distributed systems and compute at scale, such as Kubernetes or cloud-managed services (preferred).
  • ML infrastructure experience, including work with ML and large data systems (preferred).

  • Base salary range of $153,000 to $222,000 USD annually.
