Description

  • Assess and guide security for existing and new products.
  • Lead the establishment and maintenance of secure boot processes for embedded devices.
  • Integrate and manage HSM solutions within embedded systems.
  • Ensure robust encryption, key management, and secure cryptographic operations across embedded platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Work with hardware engineers, software developers, quality assurance, and product management teams on security implementation.
  • Evangelize embedded security across the organization.
  • Lead security implementation across multiple platforms.

Requirements

  • MS or BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a product security or cybersecurity engineering role.
  • Expertise in secure boot processes, HSM integration, and BSP maintenance for embedded devices.
  • Strong understanding of cryptographic principles, protocols, and algorithms.
  • Experience with embedded systems programming languages such as C, C++, or Python.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks, protocols, and compliance requirements such as FIPS 140-2 and Common Criteria.
  • Experience with automotive embedded systems, including ECUs, in-vehicle networks such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet, and automotive protocols such as AUTOSAR (preferred).
  • Familiarity with automotive security standards such as ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE WP.29, and SAE International or Auto-ISAC best practices (preferred).
  • Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics protocols such as OBD-II and UDS, and OTA update mechanisms for automotive embedded systems (preferred).
