Description

  • Design, build, and maintain features across the full stack of an internal trading platform.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of features from design through production.
  • Work primarily with TypeScript, including Node.js and React, in a monorepo environment.
  • Collaborate with platform and DevOps engineers on build pipelines, observability, and operational concerns.
  • Communicate directly with the client to clarify requirements and propose solutions.
  • Improve automated testing practices using tools such as Jest and Playwright.
  • Participate in peer code reviews and help maintain high engineering standards.
  • Work with Redis, MS SQL, WebSockets, Docker, Kubernetes, and observability tooling such as Grafana, Prometheus, and SonarQube.
  • Use LLM/AI-enabled development tools and techniques as part of day-to-day development.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional software development experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with TypeScript, including Node.js and React.
  • Strong experience building and maintaining production systems.
  • Comfortable working in a senior, autonomous engineering team.
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
  • Experience with functional programming concepts or languages such as OCaml or Haskell (nice to have).
  • Prior experience in trading, finance, or other real-time systems (nice to have).
  • Solid understanding of DevOps and operational concerns, including logging, metrics, and automation (nice to have).
  • Willingness to travel to company or client events (nice to have).
