Description

  • Develop and review linguistic rubrics, taxonomies, and annotation guidelines.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to co-develop project-specific linguistic standards and documentation.
  • Conduct linguistic reviews, quality assurance, and error analysis to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Support projects involving ASR, TTS, transcription, speech annotation, and NLP.
  • Provide linguistic expertise to improve annotation quality and AI model performance.

Requirements

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, or a related field.
  • Native or near-native proficiency in the target language with excellent English communication skills.
  • 3+ years of experience in AI language data, linguistic annotation, localization, or speech technology projects.
  • Proven experience creating annotation guidelines, rubric/tag development, taxonomy design, and linguistic quality frameworks.
  • Experience working directly with clients to develop and review linguistic guidelines.
  • Strong understanding of ASR, TTS, transcription, speech annotation, and NLP workflows.
  • Experience with LLMs, Generative AI, or AI data annotation projects (preferred).
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills (preferred).
