Description

  • Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of environmental projects.
  • Write and review technical reports and proposals.
  • Prepare and deliver marketing presentations.
  • Hire and manage subcontractors.
  • Mentor and train scientific staff, with potential to manage direct reports.
  • Support client communications and growth-focused relationship management.
  • Ensure quality work product and safe performance of project work.
  • Source new business opportunities.
  • Manage projects to completion within budget and address out-of-scope work through change orders.
  • Coordinate schedules, status updates, resource needs, and contract administration with senior management and subcontractors.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant environmental experience.
  • A book of business in remediation and environmental investigation projects is ideal.
  • Additional certification such as PG, LSRP, or PE is strongly desired.
  • Proficiency in applicable regulations and guidance such as PADEP, NJDEP, and NYSEC.
  • Ability to produce compliant work products with minimal revision by senior reviewers.
  • Ability to manage projects to completion within budget.
  • Ability to identify out-of-scope tasks, determine value, and secure change order approval.
  • Experience with billing schedules, accounts receivable management, and financial SOPs to improve cash flow and reduce WIP.
  • Ability to provide accurate 3-month projections of staffing and subcontracted cost needs.
  • Must be regionally located near Philadelphia.
  • Familiarity with Deltek Vantagepoint, DOMO, and HubSpot is desired but not required.
