Description

  • Perform checklist-based health and safety audits of building plans, construction sites, and retrofitted buildings.
  • Review site plans, complete client-designed checklists, and prepare detailed timesheets and expense reports.
  • Conduct site observations to identify and assess compliance with client-developed design requirements.
  • Collaborate with Apex project managers to coordinate and execute safety projects within organizational standards.
  • Design, implement, and execute an agreed-upon service plan with the customer.
  • Interface with client stakeholders, construction teams, developers, engineers, and building occupants.
  • Provide status updates to project managers, client relationship managers, and business development staff.
  • Ensure compliance with EHS regulations and monitor changes in applicable laws and regulations.
  • Perform data management and report preparation related to project work.
  • Travel extensively to job sites and complete field work in varied construction environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in a safety or engineering field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a safety or engineering-related field.
  • Experience in warehouse business settings is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of occupational safety practices and their real-world application.
  • Technical knowledge of construction safety, job safety analysis, machine guarding, slip/trip/fall prevention, personal protective equipment, and OSHA regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong technical writing skills and ability to multitask.
  • Experience with data management and report preparation.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
