Description

  • Write production code to solve complex problems with a focus on defensive programming, resilience, and performance.
  • Own technical solution design for major product features, software modules, and technical initiatives.
  • Develop robust solutions for ambiguous business requirements through self-guided problem solving.
  • Course-correct projects when execution deviates from intended goals or requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, UX designers, and mobile developers to deliver new features.
  • Write unit and integration tests alongside production code to support reliable, scalable releases.
  • Participate in planning activities such as refinement and task prioritisation.
  • Own code from initial development through deployment to production in a continuous delivery environment.
  • Support live incident response when needed and follow the internal incident management process.
  • Coach and mentor team members, contribute to documentation, and share technical knowledge across the organization.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience in an industrial setting.
  • Experience developing software in one or more of the following languages: Python, Java, C#, or Go.
  • Experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • Experience building distributed systems.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team.
  • Experience with UI/UX.
  • Preferred: proficiency in Python with asynchronous frameworks such as aiohttp or FastAPI.
  • Preferred: proficiency in modern .NET.
  • Preferred: experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
  • Preferred: experience with RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
  • Preferred: experience with Flutter/Dart.
