Description

  • Manage a procurement calendar to improve visibility, timing, and leverage in negotiations.
  • Lead vendor communications and contract negotiations across the business.
  • Partner with leaders to understand stakeholder requirements and secure competitive quotes.
  • Analyze renewals and deliver data-driven spend analysis and insights to senior leadership.
  • Identify and pursue cost-saving opportunities proactively.
  • Work with Finance and IT Asset Management to align procurement with forecasting and cost management.
  • Steward procurement strategy and processes across the organization.
  • Directly negotiate vendor contracts to secure optimal terms for Angi.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of procurement experience with a record of delivering cost savings and negotiating complex contracts.
  • 4+ years of experience directly negotiating software and technology contracts.
  • Exceptional understanding of contracts and the ability to identify favorable and unfavorable terms and conditions.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners at senior levels.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Able to work up to 40 hours per week.
  • Located in the Eastern or Central time zone to align with team working hours.
  • Experience working with finance, technology, product, or operations partners (preferred).
