Description

  • Manage a procurement calendar to create visibility, proactivity, and leverage in negotiations.
  • Lead vendor communications and contract negotiations across the business.
  • Partner with leaders to understand stakeholder requirements and secure competitive quotes.
  • Analyze renewals and deliver data-driven spend insights to senior leadership.
  • Identify and pursue cost savings opportunities for the business.
  • Partner with Finance and IT Asset Management on forecasting and cost management.
  • Steward procurement strategy and processes across the organization.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of procurement experience with a track record of delivering cost savings and negotiating complex contracts.
  • 4+ years of experience directly negotiating software and technology contracts.
  • Strong understanding of contracts and the ability to identify favorable and unfavorable terms and conditions.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners at senior levels.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Ability to work up to 40 hours per week.
  • Located in an eastern or central time zone to align with team working hours.
  • Experience working with senior leadership (preferred implied by role context).
