Description

Lead and grow a team of machine learning engineers through guidance, mentorship, and support.
Work hands-on with the team to solve complex technical challenges and shape solution design.
Oversee fine-tuning and deployment of large language models, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) in an agentic framework.
Optimize model performance and scalability to improve user experience and business results.
Oversee integration and management of third-party AI tools and APIs such as OpenAI GPT, Google Gemini, Meta AI, and Salesforce AI.
Partner with engineering, product, and design teams to build robust, scalable real-time APIs.
Support end-to-end development efforts to integrate AI solutions into Angi’s products.
Foster innovation by exploring new approaches and techniques to solve complex business problems.

Requirements

Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
10+ years of experience in machine learning and engineering.
Experience with large-scale distributed application architecture for deploying ML models to production.
Expertise in machine learning deployment, API development, and real-time ML workloads.
Proficiency in Python.
Ability to work deeply on technical challenges alongside a team.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Salary range of $250,000-$325,000, commensurate with experience and performance.
