Description

  • Lead the strategic planning and operational management of physical security hardware and systems, including access control, CCTV, and visitor management.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting security infrastructure.
  • Conduct system audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to align physical security with information security.
  • Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies and recommend security infrastructure enhancements.
  • Provide leadership, direction, project oversight, and performance management for the security systems team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Security Management, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in security systems infrastructure.
  • 5+ years in a lead technical or supervisory role focused on design, implementation, and management of complex physical security systems (ACS, VMS, IDS).
  • Demonstrated expertise with major security system platforms such as Genetec, LenelS2, Milestone, CCure 9000, Hirsch/Identiv, or Bosch.
  • Deep understanding of network infrastructure principles such as TCP/IP, VLANs, and ACLs as they apply to security systems.
  • Understanding of scalable hybrid Windows architecture.
  • Understanding of IT security principles and identity management.
  • Experience with cloud-based and on-prem access control and VMS solutions (preferred).
  • Experience in defense, aerospace, or other secured facilities (preferred).
  • Knowledge of NISPOM and other relevant security regulations (preferred).
  • Experience ensuring compliance with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and ICD-705 (preferred).
  • Familiarity with biometric authentication systems (preferred).
