Description

  • Work with the Demand Planning team to develop supply plans that address material supply needs for the business.
  • Manage execution of the supply plan with Procurement to maintain target stock levels.
  • Collaborate with Procurement to ensure component availability and align production scheduling with supply.
  • Proactively identify and escalate material shortages to purchasing and production teams.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to prioritize supply allocations.
  • Work with Engineering to provide visibility into material coverage for component changes.
  • Manage consumables inventory to support production.
  • Develop and maintain processes for working within MRP and related master data.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in a supply chain or production role involving complex mechanical and/or electrical assemblies.
  • 3+ years of experience in supply planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to own a value chain end to end and coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to deliver on time under strict quality standards.
  • Experience with Oracle or a similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  • Ability to take on substantial responsibility across supply chain, logistics, engineering, and material planning functions with a bias toward speed and accuracy.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field (preferred).
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and/or Six Sigma principles (preferred).
