Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, robotics, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience in autonomous systems testing.
  • Minimum of 12 years of flight testing experience with a strong emphasis on autonomous or remotely piloted systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute test plans for complex systems within aggressive timelines.
  • Familiarity with principles of mission autonomy, unmanned systems, and integration of multiple assets into cohesive operational frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret test data, diagnose system behaviors, and recommend improvements.
  • Proven track record of working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to meet project milestones and deliverables.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating technical challenges and solutions to diverse audiences.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to various testing locations as required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret-level security clearance.
  • Preferred: direct experience developing, testing, and deploying mission autonomy systems in defense or aerospace; hands-on experience with simulation environments and testing tools; familiarity with software development practices and languages used in autonomy (e.g., Python, C++, ROS); knowledge of UAS industry and military standards and national airspace operation.

Benefits

  • US salary range: $166,000–$220,000 (base salary estimate).
  • Highly competitive equity grants included in the majority of full-time offers.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans for US roles (little to no cost to employee).
  • Life and disability insurance covered by the company.
  • Generous PTO with a December holiday hiatus and caregiver & wellness leave options.
  • Family planning and parenting support, including coverage for fertility treatments, adoption, and gestational carriers.
