Description

  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, external clients, and industry partners to align objectives and secure buy-in.
  • Serve as the local liaison for UAE relationships, including subsystem suppliers, in-country test organizations, facility setup, and customer engagements.
  • Communicate cost forecasts, schedules, resource needs, risks, and opportunities to internal teams.
  • Manage, unblock, and accelerate cross-team projects spanning multiple teams and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with engineering and program leads to ensure alignment from development through production, including test operations.
  • Drive technical outcomes by understanding system performance, managing risks and opportunities, and using metrics to identify improvements.
  • Execute autonomously on broad or ambiguous client requirements with high ownership.
  • Support the drafting of technical proposals and help scope and estimate potential projects and scaling opportunities.
  • Translate strategic business goals into actionable project plans with clear milestones and execution ownership.
  • Oversee allocation of personnel, budget, and other resources in the UAE to support program success.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in a customer-facing program management role and/or systems engineering, preferably in defense, national security, or aerospace.
  • Proven experience leading peers to field hardware or software products in real operating environments through the product development lifecycle, including test.
  • Proven experience leading product and manufacturing peers through initial low-rate production.
  • Strong technical aptitude with demonstrated contributions to technical designs, software development lifecycle work, and risk resolution.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders across a wide range of technical backgrounds and seniority levels.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and quantitative skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to support decisions.
  • Ability to work through ambiguity with a hands-on, high-ownership mindset.
  • Experience working with international suppliers and customers.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience defining new facilities or manufacturing spaces preferred.
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence preferred.
