Description

  • Design, develop, and optimize high-performance, low-latency C++ software for critical defense applications, systems, and infrastructure.
  • Engineer robust, efficient, and scalable solutions for complex algorithmic and memory-management challenges in real-time environments.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers, systems engineers, and other software teams to integrate C++ components and ensure seamless system functionality.
  • Debug, test, and profile C++ code to identify performance bottlenecks and improve reliability and stability.
  • Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from architectural design and implementation through testing and deployment.
  • Work on multiple teams and adapt to different project needs across Anduril’s defense technology programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or strong foundation in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience developing high-performance software with modern C++.
  • Proven ability to design software with a focus on performance, efficiency, and resource management.
  • Experience rapidly understanding and contributing to large, mature C++ codebases and complex system architectures.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
  • Passion for building software that contributes to real-world mission outcomes.
  • Travel may be required depending on the specific role.
  • Successful candidates will be matched to a specific team later in the recruitment process.
